About Us

Legends Race Hire is a venture run by Aly Hunter. Having an outing in a Legends Car in 1999, Aly was well and truly bitten by the bug. Since then we have shipped Legends Cars over from the USA to give the Brits a chance to hire them for a meeting (or more!) and try a LEGENDary experience for themselves.

The cars debuted at the Knockhill Racing Circuit in Fife, Scotland on 2nd April 2000 in the first of a Scottish Series, instigated by Aly and run by the SMRC. The Series was so successful that Championship status was granted and ran from the start of the 2001 Race Season. Aly was recognised by the SMRC for his efforts in the "Spirit of Scottish Motor Racing" by being awarded the Duncan Fisher Memorial Trophy at the end of 2000. See Race Hire for further details.
